Directional Coupler: EW, SATCOM, and More
KRYTAR’s new directional coupler, Model 106040010, is uniquely designed for systems applications where external leveling, precise monitoring, signal mixing or swept transmission and reflection measurements are required. The coupler provides simple solutions for many applications covering microwave frequency bands from L through K-Band including electronic warfare (EW), commercial wireless, SATCOM, radar, signal monitoring and measurement, antenna beam forming, and EMC testing environments. For many space-restricted applications the compact size makes KRYTAR directional couplers ideal. The new directional coupler also lends itself to wireless designs and many test and measurement applications for emerging mmWave and 5G markets.

Synthesized Signal Generator
So many jobs in the lab require a good quality synthesized RF signal generator used solely as a CW source. The SSG is designed to be a workhorse in the lab, providing a low phase noise synthesized CW output in a small package that is easy to move around, and without the penalty of paying for features you don’t need.
Applications
A general purpose laboratory workhorse
Frequency hopping CW LO for frequency converters
Test source for device characterization

Fast Accurate & Traceable Power Sensors, 9 kHz to 50 GHz with 86dB Dynamic Range
LadyBug Technologies designs, develops, and manufactures a broad range of first tier NIST traceable USB power sensors. Our power sensors do not require a separate power meter, they instead function as a complete power measurement solution using s software application on a PC, instrument or ATE (Automated Test Equipment) system. As such they are referred to as Power Meters or Power Sensors.
We manufacture sensors with capability of measuring average, peak and pulse power. Our sensors are used for general purpose RF power testing, ATE, defense, portable and compact applications. Our power sensors are widely used in the microwave and RF test industry. Our LB5900 series power sensors have an exceptionally flexible interface including optional I2C and SPI connectivity and the sensors are Linux compatible.

Elastomer Socket for BGA324 with 23 Watt Power Dissipation
Elastomer used in the socket, as a contactor between the IC package and the circuit board, is a low resistance (less than 0.05ohms) connector. The elastomer consists of a fine pitch matrix of gold plated wires in a soft insulating sheet of silicone rubber. The sockets have a precision design, which guides the IC to the exact position for connection of each ball and uses an aluminum heat sink to provide compressive force.

Qorvo® to Create State-of-the-Art Semiconductor Packaging Center
Qorvo® has been selected by the U.S. government to create a State-of-the-Art (SOTA) Heterogeneous Integrated Packaging (SHIP) RF production and prototyping center. The SHIP program will ensure that microelectronics packaging expertise and leadership is available for both U.S. defense contractors and commercial clients that require design, validation, assembly, test and manufacturing of next-generation RF components.
The exclusive SHIP Other Transaction Agreement (OTA), worth up to $75 million, was awarded to Qorvo by the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane Division. This program is funded by the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering’s (OUSD R&E) Trusted and Assured Microelectronics Program (T&AM), and is administered by the Strategic & Spectrum Missions Advanced Resilient Trusted System (S²MARTS) Other Transaction Agreement (OTA), managed by National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL).
Under the SHIP program, Qorvo will design and deliver the highest levels of heterogeneous packaging integration. This is essential to meet the size, weight, power and cost (SWAP-C) requirements for next-generation phased array radar systems, unmanned vehicles, electronic warfare platforms and satellite communications.
