SiTime: Systems on a Chip

HFE recently spoke with Piyush Sevalia, Executive Vice President, Marketing, SiTime. This publicly traded fabless company made two announcements in late July. It was noted that accurate timing is essential and a key “heartbeat” ingredient for achieving robust processor operation in high fidelity cellular networks. New products highlighted include multiple output clock systems-on-a-chip for 5G and telemedicine. IEEE 1588 protocol is employed.
