New PXI Remote Control and Bus Extension Modules

NI announced the release of a new family of high-performance PXI remote control and bus extension modules with PCI Express Gen 3 connectivity. PCI Express Gen 3 technology delivers increased bandwidth that is critical for data intensive applications like 5G cellular research, RF record and playback, and high-channel-count data acquisition. The PCIe-8398 host interface card communicates over a fully transparent PCI Express Gen 3 x16 link to either the single-port PXIe-8398 or dual-port PXIe-8399 remote control module to offer up to 13.7 GB/s of sustained data throughput.

Skyworks introduced SKY12239-11, a voltage-controlled variable attenuator (VVA) from our series of broadband, flat attenuation, high third order input intercept point (IIP3) products. The device has been designed to operate over the 10 MHz to 1.5 GHz frequency band, and is specifically optimized for use as a wide dynamic range, ultra-low distortion attenuator. Quadrature Mixer

Model SFQ-33350313-2F2FSF-F2 is a Q Band quadrature mixer that covers the frequency range of 33 to 50 GHz. The typical conversion loss of the quadrature mixer is 13 dB with an LO driving power of +17 dBm. The typical LO to RF port isolation is 25 dB. Since the IF port of the quadrature mixer is DC coupled, the mixer can be used as a phase detector. In addition, the mixer can be readily configured into an image rejection mixer or single sideband modulator by adding an IF quadrature coupler.

1.8 to 6.5 GHz Broadband Power MMIC

AMCOM’s AM206041WN-SN-R is a broadband GaN MMIC power amplifier. It has 30dB gain, and 41dBm CW output power over the 1.8 to 6.5GHz band. The AM206041WN-SN-R is in a ceramic package with a flange and straight RF and DC leads for drop-in assembly. Because of high DC power dissipation, good heat sinking is required. The package is RoHS compliant. This MMIC is matched to 50 Ohms.

17 - 40 GHz Block Up and Down Converters

Norden Millimeter’s broader band block up and down converters are used for extending the frequency range of existing ELINT, COMINT, RADAR, and testing systems. These new converters cover the 17 - 26.5 GHz and 25.5 - 40 GHz bands with a full 1 GHz overlap with existing 18GHz systems and at the transition between bands. Analog Devices announces the LTC7004, a high speed, high side N-channel MOSFET driver that operates up to a 60V supply voltage. Its internal charge pump fully enhances an external N-channel MOSFET switch, enabling it to remain on indefinitely. Cable Assemblies: Wireless Infrastructure

Pasternack’s 36 new low-PIM jumper cables are made with UL910 plenum-rated SPP-250-LLPL cable and feature a maximum PIM level of -155 dBc. PIM levels have been fully tested with PIM test results marked on each cable.
