RFMW announced design and sales support for a high gain, 10W GaN amplifier targeted at S-band RADAR applications. The TriQuint TGA2583-SM offers 33 dB of gain and >50% PAE from 2.7 to 3.7 GHz. Saturated output power is rated at 40.5 dBm from a 25-32 volt supply providing 175mA. The TGA2583-SM can be operated in CW or pulse mode.
